Pressure Gauge Guards

Penguin Gauge Guard Assembly: Automatic - CPVC \ FKM
Penguin Gauge Guard Assembly: Automatic - CPVC \ FKM

The Penguin plastic gauge guard is a unique, compact, molded design consisting of two threaded fluid chambers. There is no possibility of leakage due to uneven screwed components. Each piece contains a matching groove which confines the true o-ring incorporated on the OD of the impermeable diaphragm. A bleed plug and o-ring are included in the design for proper filling or the incompressible liquid in the gauge side chamber. This prevents air entrapment, thus providing an accurate reading with no needle vibrations.

Features
• Choice of materials CPVC, PVDF or Polypropylene   • Impermeable and resilient Viton diaphragm   • 1/4" FPT instrument (gauge) connection   • 1/2" FPT bottom system connection   • No metallic fasteners to corrode

Plast-O-Matic Chemical Gauge Guards should be utilized to isolate and protect pressure or vacuum instruments used on ultra-pure or highly corrosive fluid lines. Utilization of Plast-O-Matic gauge guards offers the added advantage of protection against clogging of instruments caused by suspended solids or highly viscous fluids. Gauge Guards are available with or without gauges.

Advantages of Plast-O-Matic Gauge Guards
• Inexpensive initial investment   • Reduces instrument failures   • Reduces system down time   • Eliminates special alloy instruments   • Maximum chemical / temperature compatibility
