Y-Pattern
Georg Fischer Type 304 Y-Check Valve is a weighted angle check valve and is used to automatically stop flow in the reverse direction when the fluid in the line stops. The valve closes by the dead weight of the weighted seat and functions when mounted in either the horizontal or vertical plane. Type 304 Y-Check Valves are superior to spring-loaded checks for corrosive service since they are not temperature sensitive. Y-Check valves generally have tighter shut-off characteristics than ball check valves at the same pressures. Georg Fischer Type 304 Y-Check Valves feature a transparent PVC construction which allows for inspection of the position and condition of the valve piston and seat.

Hayward Y-Check Valves prevent reversal of flow in piping systems. They are ideal where backflow could potentially cause damage to pumps, filters or process equipment. Hayward Y-Check Valves operate without the need for any adjustments or settings. A plastic coil (not a spring) supports the disc inside the body. When the inlet flow stops, back pressure (a minimum of 2 psi is required) moves the disc with its elastomer o-ring onto a plastic seat - shutting off the flow.

• 150 psi @ 70°F (non-shock) • Full flow design, works in any position
