Pressure Regulation

Filterchem Pressure Regulators sense downstream pressure in fluid lines and open or close to maintain a selected downstream pressure. These valves are used to protect equipment and filters from excessive line pressures. These valves are adjustable from a range of 5 to 70 psi (5 to 75 psi for 1/2" size). Filterchem Pressure Relief Valves protect equipment from excess pressures by opening up at a selected pressure and relieving liquid line pressure back to a holding tank or drain. These valves are adjustable from 10 to 80 psi. Filterchem Pressure Regulators and Relief Valves are of molded construction of Type 1 PVC, with Viton® o-rings and PVDF-coated springs. Regulators are also available in polypropylene, and the pressure relief valve is also available in PVDF Kynar®.

Regulator Features - 1/2" thru 2" sizes
• 125 psi @ 75°F inlet pressure    • Regulates and stabilizes downstream pressure   • PVC valves for applications to 140°F   • Polypropylene valves for applications to180°F   • Adjustable from 5 - 75 psi for 1/2", 5 - 70 psi for 3/4" through 2" sizes
Relief Valve Features - 1/2" size only

Plast-O-Matic Chemical Gauge Guards should be utilized to isolate and protect pressure or vacuum instruments used on ultra-pure or highly corrosive fluid lines. Utilization of Plast-O-Matic gauge guards offers the added advantage of protection against clogging of instruments caused by suspended solids or highly viscous fluids. Gauge Guards are available with or without gauges.
