Asahi/America Type 57 thermoplastic butterfly valve packaged with Series 92 Electric Actuator. Features include: 120 VAC, Open/Close - 10 second cycle time (1-1/2” - 4”), 25 second cycle time ( 6” and 8”). Auxiliary limit switches available, manual override standard, and beacon position indicator - mounted and tested. UL-508 listed. Note - Mechanical brake standard with 6” and 8” butterfly valve assemblies, available as an option on 1-1/2” through 4” sizes of Series 92 actuated Type 57 butterfly.

Spear’s innovative design departs from traditional liner-seat type valves to eliminate seat creep, reduce operating torque and provide positive seal off. Ideally suited for flow control or throttling, this high performance valve is offered with a full variety of options for greater application versatility. Pressure rated to a maximum internal pressure of 150 psi at 73°F - including dead end service. Heavy blow-out proof 316 stainless steel stem is standard on all valves. PTFE-coated Stainless steel or titanium stems are available on request.
