Application

The LR83 general purpose 80 GHz radar sensor provides continuous level measurement up to 98.4’ (30m) for liquids or 49.2’ (15m) for solids, with a 4-20 mA with HART or Modbus signal output. The sensor is wirelessly configured over Bluetooth via our LevelTap™ App which enables you to see the level, verify the status, and manage the settings of connected sensors from the safety of the ground or nearby catwalk. The sensor measures liquid and solids media with a dielectric constant value ≥ 1.6, such as water, chemical or petroleum-based liquids, and pellet, grain, powder or aggregate solids. Select this sensor for tank, sump, weir, canal, reservoir, silo, bin, conveyor or stockpile applications.

Application

The LR85 general purpose 80 GHz radar sensor provides continuous level measurement up to 196.8’ (60m) for solids or 393.7’ (120m) for liquids, with a 4-20 mA with HART or Modbus signal output. The sensor is wirelessly configured over Bluetooth via our LevelTap™ App which enables you to see the level, verify the status, and manage the settings of connected sensors from the safety of the ground or nearby catwalk. The sensor measures solids and liquid media with a dielectric constant value ≥ 1.6, such as pellet, grain, powder or aggregate solids, and water, chemical or petroleum-based liquids. Select this sensor for tall dusty silos and bunkers or difficult liquid process applications.

The general purpose AC powered tank or silo level controller displays engineering units with one 4-20 mA level transmitter, two programmable relays and an isolated 4-20 mA repeater. Relay one is configurable on a single set point. Relay two can be configured on a single set point or latched on two set points for automatic fill or empty control in simplex mode. Select this DIN rail mount controller for use with general purpose two or threewire level sensors.

Item LC52-1001 includes a 4-20mA Repeater

General purpose AC or DC powered level controller displays engineering units with one 4-20 mA level transmitter input and is offered in three configurations with optional 2 or 4 programmable relays, and an isolated 4-20 mA repeater. Each relay can be configured on a single set point (high level alarm or low level alarm) or latched on two set points for automatic fill or empty in simplex (one pump or valve) or duplex (two pumps) level control modes.

LED main display and secondary unit display with relay status. Isolated power supply to sensor with optional 4-20 mA repeater. Capable of displaying units in gallons, liters, inches, feet, meters or percent of liquid. Add 2 or 4 relays to control tank pumps, valves or alarms. Add repeater output to repeat the 4-20 mA signal to another PLC, SCADA or display.

The general purpose loop powered level indicator displays engineering units connected in series with one 4-20 mA continuous level transmitter, and is available with two optional relays and an isolated 4-20 mA repeater. Select this panel mount indicator for use with general purpose two-wire level transmitters.
