Application

The LR80 general purpose 80 GHz radar sensor provides continuous level measurement up to 32.8’ (10m) for liquids or 16.4’ (5m) for solids with a 4-20 mA signal output. The sensor is wirelessly configured over Bluetooth via our LevelTap™ App which enables you to see the level, verify the status, and manage the settings of connected sensors from the safety of the ground or nearby catwalk. The sensor measures liquid and solids media with a dielectric constant value ≥ 1.6, such as water, chemical or petroleum-based liquids, and pellet, grain, powder or aggregate solids. Select this sensor for tank, sump, lift station, weir, canal, reservoir, bin, conveyor or transfer station applications.

Application

The LR81 general purpose 80 GHz radar sensor provides continuous level measurement up to 98.4’ (30m) for liquids or 49.2’ (15m) for solids, with a 4-20 mA with HART, Modbus or SDI-12 signal output. The sensor is wirelessly configured over Bluetooth via our LevelTap™ App which enables you to see the level, verify the status, and manage the settings of connected sensors from the safety of the ground or nearby catwalk. The sensor measures liquid and solids media with a dielectric constant value ≥ 1.6, such as water, chemical or petroleum-based liquids, and pellet, grain, powder or aggregate solids. Select this sensor for tank, sump, lift station, weir, canal, reservoir, silo, bin, conveyor, transfer station or stockpile applications.

The general purpose level controller is offered in two configurations for pump and valve control. The LC10 accepts one level sensor input and provides one 16A relay for high level control or low level control. The LC11 accepts two level sensor inputs and provides one latching 16A relay for automatic fill or empty control. The optional flash alarm brings attention to level alarm conditions. Package this level controller with our liquid level switch sensors and fittings.

General purpose or isolation versions with built-in intrinsic safety barriers for use with associated apparatus, the level switch controller is offered in three configurations for pump and valve control. The LC40 accepts one level switch input and provides one 10A relay. The LC41 accepts two level switch inputs and provides one latching 10A relay for automatic fill or empty control. The LC42/92 accepts three level switch inputs with one latching 10A relay output for automatic fill or empty control, and a second non-latching 10A relay for high level alarm or low level alarm.
