High-Density Polyethylene Tubing
High-Density Polyethylene Tubing

High-Density Polyethylene is less flexible than low-density polyethylene, but has better physical and chemical properties, and withstands sterilization by boiling. Raw materials used in its manufacture meet requirements set by the FDA. The standard color is semi-opaque bright white, with black available on special order. Black is recommended for applications requiring durability in direct sunlight or outdoor exposure.

Temperature range: -100° to 150°F

Priced by the coil and sold only in full coils.

John Guest Linear Low-Density PE Tubing
John Guest Linear Low-Density PE Tubing

John Guest PE range of plastic tubing is available in inch and metric sizes in a variety of colors, produced in Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE).
John Guest tubing provides the benefits of a wide range of temperature and pressure suitability, broad chemical compatibility and is made from non-contaminating materials. Common applications are in water purification, water conditioners, ice makers and misting systems. LLDPE is more robust than traditional low or medium density
polyethylene and is recommended for use with cold and intermittent hot water. John Guest tubing is made from FDA-approved materials and is listed with NSF International Standards 51 and 61.

Applications / Features
John Guest Polyethylene Tubing is designed for use with John Guest Super Speedfit® Push-in fittings, John Guest shut-off valves and virtually all standard tubing connectors. John Guest LLDPE tubing provides excellent resistance to environmental stress-cracking as measured by ASTM D-1693.

John Guest Linear Low-Density Polyethylene Tubing is available in a range of colors and sizes.

Priced by the coil and sold only in full coils.

Misc Colors Low Density PE Tubing
Misc Colors Low Density PE Tubing

Produced from virgin, low-density polyethylene resin, this chemically-inert, noncontaminating translucent tubing meets FDA standards, making it an ideal choice for laboratory, hospital, food and beverage applications. Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is also well-suited for use with pneumatic controls, instrumentation and hydraulic applications, where it’s exceptional stability, long life and resistance to corrosion and environmental chemicals enhance system reliability. Available in seven brilliant colors - red, yellow, orange, green, blue, black and white - plus a natural translucent grade give system designers a wide selection of color coding for easy circuit traceability and identification.

Polypropylene Tubing
Polypropylene Tubing

Polypropylene is a tough, heat-resistant tubing, ideal for the transfer of hot liquids or gases. It is recommended for vacuum systems and applications where higher temperatures and pressures are encountered. It has excellent resistance to acids and alkalies., but poor resistance to aromatic, aliphatic and chlorinated solvents. Raw materials used in its manufacture meet requirements set by the FDA. The natural color of the tubing is semi-opaque white. Not recommended for use outdoors, or for exposure to UV light.

Sold by the coil.
