Multiport and 3-Way Ball Valves

The use of a multiport ball valve simplifies piping and eliminates the need for an additional valve and Tee fitting. An L-ported ball valve permits flow from the bottom entry to either the left or right ports or to an OFF position. An optional Tee-ported ball allows simultaneous left and right flow. 150 psi @ 70°F for PVC and CPVC construction. 4 different flow patterns through 3 separate ports are possible because the crossed flow patterns within the ball. Bottom port to right or left port, bottom port to right and left simultaneously, straight through valve from right to left port.

Manual Hayward Three-Way Ball Valves come standard with a two port “TW” ball allowing for three flow configurations within 180˚ of rotation. With the bottom port as the inlet, the flow can be directed to the right or left port, or shutoff. On manual or actuated valves, and optional “TP” ball allows flow through all ports at the same time or flow shutoff. True Union design makes these valves very easy to maintain by allowing for easy removal from a piping system without breaking downstream connections.
