Asahi/America Duo-Bloc® Type 21 thermoplastic ball valves provide a dependable and economical way to handle corrosive chemicals. They perform at temperatures up to 250°F, and pressures to 230 psi (150 psi for polypropylene valves). True Union Duo-Bloc® Type 21 Ball Valves can be lifted from the line, simply by loosening the two union nuts. The valve can be disassembled, and parts may be replaced. The Duo-Bloc® feature blocks in two directions, leaving full pressure opposite, and allowing disconnection of downstream piping.

Asahi/America Multiport® thermoplastic valves provide a dependable and economical way to handle corrosive chemicals, such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, oxidizing chemicals, caustics, solvents, halogens, and various other hostile fluids. They perform at temperatures up to 250°F (PVDF version), and pressures to 150 psi. Asahi/America Multiport® Ball Valves are three-way ball valves with a True Union design.

The True Union feature, an exclusive Chemtrol® introduction over twenty years ago, has become an industry standard. Coupled with its other features, the Chemtrol® Tru-Bloc™. True Union Ball Valve adds up to great versatility and significant savings in operating and maintenance costs. Chemtrol® Tru-Bloc™ True Union Ball Valve’s heavy-duty stub-acme thread-seal carrier retaining ring provides more reliability than other designs. Double-block design stops flow in either direction - upstream and downstream - when the alternate union is removed for servicing of the system.

GF Type 546 True Union Ball Valves feature a short overall length, buttress thread design and universal multi-function module. This module significantly expands the number of uses for the Type 546 by allowing the user to easily add different accessories, actuators and switches. The multi-function module can also be used for easy wall and panel mount installation or as a position feedback unit by adding one of five different micro-switch options. GF Type 546 valves are easily automated with the newly introduced line of pneumatic and electric actuators that have been specifically designed to compliment the modularity and flexibility of the Type 546 ball valve.

Hayward True Union Ball Valves are superior performers. A fine-pitch seal retainer thread allows for accurate compensation for seat wear. Reversible seats make it easy to get a damaged valve back in service. Should the seats become damaged, they only need to be removed, turned over, and re-installed to put the valve back on line. These valves feature a double o ring stem seal for twice the leakage protection of valves with only a single stem seal. Hayward’s manual True Union Ball Valve has been designed so that it can easily be converted to an automated valve in the field. To do this, just remove the compression fit handle and install an actuator mounting bracket.
