Valves & Actuation

Georg Fischer Type 145: Electrically Actuated without Manual Override - PVC \ EPDM
Georg Fischer Type 145: Electrically Actuated without Manual Override - PVC \ EPDM

Type 145 Butterfly valves have the same features and benefits of the +GF+ Type 567 manual valves. This electrically actuated valve is adaptable to a variety of conditions and applications. It is available in PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene and PVDF materials. With the optional positioner, it goes from being a simple on/off valve to a precise flow control device integrated into systems controlled by PLC’s and other computerized instrumentation. Features: Flame retardant glass-filled polypropylene with stainless steel external hardware. Cycle Time: 15 seconds/90° rotation (2" - 6" sizes) 20 seconds sizes (8" + ). Voltage: 100-230 VAC ( 24V AC/DC on request ). Duty Rating: 50% at 70°F for 2” - 6” sizes, 35% at 70°F for 8” and above.

Georg Fischer Type 567: Manual with Lever - CPVC \ EPDM
Georg Fischer Type 567: Manual with Lever - CPVC \ EPDM

The Type 567 is a wafer style butterfly valve rated for pressures up to 150 psi and temperatures of up to 140° F for PVC and 176° F for CPVC, also available in polypropylene and PVDF. Better chemical compatibility is achieved because the inner body is the same material as the piping. The Type 567/578 Butterfly valves have a unique eccentric design that means the disc is not in contact with the seal in the open position. The result is less wear and operating torques half that of previous models. Georg Fischer double eccentric butterfly valves require approximately 50% less operating torque than boot-style competitive valves. Lever and gear operators are both available. In the lever version, the opening angle is clearly indicated on the index plate.
