Georg Fischer Type 514 PVC and CPVC Diaphragm Valves are ideally suited for throttling applications for most fluids including abrasive solutions and slurries. Type 514 PVC and CPVC Diaphragm Valves are supplied with true union socket end connections, allowing the valve to be removed from the process without the need for additional fittings. Georg Fischer Type 514 is manufactured with an internal weir with a self-flushing design.
• Type 514 valves are supplied with socket end connections only • Elimination of bolts removes corrosive weak point • Visual position indicator on valve handle • Increased pressure rating of 240 psi @ 70°F on most valves • Increased Cv values of 2 to 3 times competitive designs
