GF PROGEF Standard Polypropylene Valves
PROGEF® Standard Polypropylene (PP-H) homopolymer piping system has superior mechanical characteristics, chemical resistance, and has a relatively high heat deflection temperature.
Because of its high internal pressure resistance, PP-H is preferred for industrial applications. PROGEF® Standard is available in socket fusion, butt fusion and non-contact infrared (IR-Plus®) fusion technologies.
Suitable for cost effective distribution of DI-water and RO water, as well as for industrial applications in chemical production, chemical distribution, metal plating, power stations and cooling.
Thermal Properties
In general polypropylene can be used at temperatures from +32°F to +176°F, please consult the pressure/temperature diagram.
Standard Ratings:
• FDA CFR 21 177.1520 • USP 25 Class VI • ASME-BPE
Advantages
• Good chemical resistance • High internal pressure resistance • High impact strength • Outstanding weldability • High stress fracture resistance
• Great surface finish and leachout resistance • Performs well over extended timeframe
Warning - not for use with compressed air or gases !
